Right of access, meaning: the right of the data subject to obtain from the Controller, upon request and free of charge (once per year), confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed. Depending on the response provided, the data subject may then decide whether to exercise other rights.
  2. Right to rectification, meaning: the right of the data subject to obtain from the Controller, upon request and free of charge, and insofar as technical means allow, the rectification of inaccurate data concerning them, as well as the completion of incomplete data.
  3. Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”), meaning: the right of the data subject to obtain from the Controller, upon request and free of charge, the erasure of personal data concerning them, insofar as the conditions provided by law are met.
  4. Right to restriction of processing, meaning: the right of the data subject to obtain, upon request and free of charge, insofar as the legal conditions are met, the marking of stored personal data with the purpose of limiting their further processing.
  5. Right to data portability, meaning: the right of the data subject to receive, upon request and free of charge, personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, as well as the right to have those data transmitted to another controller, insofar as the legal conditions are met.
  6. Right to object, meaning: the right of the data subject to object at any time, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning them, insofar as the legal conditions are met.
  7. Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, meaning: the right of the data subject to request and obtain the withdrawal, annulment, or reassessment of any decision based solely on automated processing, which produces legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affects them.
  8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or before the courts, meaning: the right of the data subject to file a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, headquartered in Bucharest, B-dul General Ghe.
